Octobank Appears on Times Square Screens in New York
Octobank has launched advertising on the renowned Times Square screens in New York, becoming one of the first Uzbek banks to be represented at one of the most recognizable advertising locations on the planet. At the heart of Manhattan, the bank’s brand appeared next to the biggest international companies, making itself known to a broad global audience.
The Times Square campaign came as a continuation of the Octobank team’s international tour of the United States. Not long before, the bank’s representatives took part in SIBOS 2026 in Miami, one of the most important global conferences in the financial industry, which convenes banks, payment companies, technology corporations, fintech businesses and representatives of international financial infrastructure.
SIBOS gave Octobank the opportunity to present itself to the international professional community, meet in person with existing and prospective partners, and discuss how to develop correspondent relationships, payment infrastructure, technology solutions and new formats for cooperation.
The bank’s representatives emphasized that SIBOS is valuable primarily for the opportunity it offers to hold direct professional dialogue with participants in the global financial market and to turn new contacts into concrete joint projects.
After the conference, Octobank took its international communication beyond the professional venue and into the public space of New York.
Times Square is one of the world’s most famous advertising spaces. Campaigns from global technology, financial, consumer and media brands appear on its screens every day. The bank sees its presence at this location as a symbol of its continued course toward international recognition and a more active representation of modern Uzbekistan abroad.
Octobank is now a bank with a 25-year history in Uzbekistan’s financial market. It develops solutions for retail and corporate customers, international partners and financial organizations, placing particular emphasis on technology infrastructure, international operations, payment services and modern risk management standards.
The bank names openness to foreign partners as one of the central themes in its international positioning. Octobank says it systematically communicates about its corporate infrastructure, its approaches to AML and sanctions compliance, transaction monitoring, cybersecurity, risk management and interaction with international financial institutions.
For this reason, the bank describes the brand’s appearance on Times Square not as a stand-alone image initiative, but as part of a broader strategy aimed at international presence.
According to Octobank, it matters not only to speak about its own capabilities, but also to show foreign audiences how the banking sector of Uzbekistan is changing: becoming more technological, more open and more integrated into the international financial system.
Such initiatives, in the bank’s view, help foreign partners, investors and the professional community discover Uzbek companies, create new points of contact and generate additional opportunities for cooperation in the future.
Octobank aims to further expand the international presence of its brand, develop relationships with foreign financial institutions and showcase the potential of Uzbekistan’s banking sector at the world’s leading platforms.
