Ketamine is a dissociative anaesthetic that is found to have antidepressant capabilities when administered at low doses and constant time intervals. Ketamine infusions are performed based on the recommendation of your psychiatrist and are administered in a six-week treatment process called the “acute phase”. After six weeks, you may receive maintenance infusions per your psychiatrist’s recommendations.
