Ridgewood residents have a new supermarket in the neighborhood—Billy’s Marketplace. Scheduled to open in April 2017, the grocery store will be a one-stop shopping destination where patrons can take care of all of their needs. Billy’s Marketplace bills itself as a “home-grown grocer,” with a butcher, a fish market, a deli, fresh produce, a supermarket, a bakery, a craft beer bar, a gourmet food buffet, a juice bar, and a coffee shop in one handy location. With a spacious on-site parking lot and long hours of operation (7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.), shopping at this supermarket will be especially convenient for residents of the boroughs. Although the supermarket is located in Queens, itwill be easy to reach for residents of bordering neighborhoods in Brooklyn,like Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. In Queens, the grocery store will best serve those in Ridgewood, Middle Village, and Glendale. Slated to open in April 2017, Billy’s Marketplace will be open sevendays a week to meet the needs of New York City residents.
