I Opened a “No-Brain” Game and Accidentally Spent an Hour Arguing with Gravity

Business Description
I have a habit of mislabeling things in my head.
If a game looks simple, I call it “no-brain.” If it has one mechanic, I assume it won’t demand much from me emotionally. That assumption is usually wrong, but I keep making it anyway. And the night I opened Eggy Car yet again, I was absolutely convinced this would be the most relaxed session so far.
I even leaned back in my chair before pressing play.
Big mistake.
Why I Keep Choosing Casual Games When I Want to Switch Off
When I’m tired, I don’t want to learn anything.
I don’t want tutorials, meta systems, or long-term goals. I want a game that meets me where I am, lets me play immediately, and doesn’t care if I disappear after ten minutes. Casual games do that better than anything else.
That’s why browser-style games are my comfort zone. They’re honest. They don’t pretend to be epic. They just say, “Here’s the idea—let’s see what you do with it.”
This one, in particular, looks almost too gentle. And that’s exactly why it keeps surprising me.
