Based in Redding, California, this wholesale plant nursery focuses on clean production practices for growers who want dependable berry starts. Many farms plan orders for organic strawberry plants in late summer to match fall planting windows and cooler soil temperatures. Innovative Organic Nursery provides practical information about timing, field prep, and handling so plants establish quickly after arrival. As a certified organic berry nursery, the team documents inputs and sanitation steps, which helps buyers maintain organic records. Growers often sort incoming trays by cultivar and age, then harden plants for a few days to reduce transplant shock. Irrigation checks, mulch choice, and row spacing are common setup decisions. For trial blocks or succession planting, some buyers pair organic raspberry plants with strawberries to compare vigor across sites. Storage matters, too: brief, cool holding and quick field planting support uniform growth. This approach suits market gardeners and diversified farms that need reliable transplants for steady harvest scheduling.
