Welcome to Island Water Shuttle.

We offer a private water shuttle service to the main waterfront attractions on the Roanoke Sound such as Pirate’s Cove, Wanchese Harbor, Manteo Waterfront. Our tours also include hidden gems, like Banana Island which is a secluded sand island north east of Manteo. Each tour is unique each day due to weather conditions, location of the dolphins, time of sunset, but most importantly your interest - where you want to go!

Take in the beautiful Outer Banks sunset on your own private boat. We usually depart from Kitty Hawk Water sports in Nags Head around 6:00 pm. From Nags Head we head across the sound to Pirates Cove and then to the Manteo waterfront. We can come ashore on Banana Island then cruise back to Nags Head as the sun drops down low and glows.

Guests love seeing dolphin pods, pelicans and nesting ospreys. We usually depart from Kitty Hawk Watersports in Nags Head. Or occasionally from Miller's Waterfront restaurant which is next to the watersports. From the dock we head across the sound to Pirates Cove and then south to Wanchese Harbor and hopefully see many dolphin. Then we cruise to Manteo waterfront and can stop by Banana Island, time permitting.

Spend the afternoon on your own private Tiki Hut on the water. We shuttle you to the Big Bamboo Tiki which includes a shaded eating area with 4 chairs. There’s a bar in the back with 2 stools and 4 bean bags. We provide 2 small coolers for beverages and food. And of course a spacious deck for sunbathing. We provide a swim ladder for easy access on and off the boat.
