Business Description
Donald J. Matson, simply “Don” to his clients, has been licensed in the State of California and a member of the California State Bar for 24 years. During this time, he has seen firsthand the damage a criminal conviction can do to a life, and the difference a lawyer can make.
Don is ready to stand between you and the criminal justice system. To make sure you know and understand your rights, and can emerge from this difficult time with your life as intact as possible.
To that end, he opened his legal practice in 2005 to fill a serious void in the criminal justice system. The void between individuals and their right to competent, skilled, committed, and trustworthy defenders.
Don knows how difficult it is to confront the court system alone, and has made it his mission to stand and face it for you.
Don Matson’s Priority Is Your Defense And Rehabilitation
Clients are not case numbers to Don, they are friends. Mr. Matson takes your case and treats it as if it was his only case, guiding you through the legal system every step of the way. From your arrest and first encounters with prosecutors to your initial court appearance through the completion of probation.
A charge and conviction can weigh on your life, family, and career-long after the court work is done. But Don regularly fights all the way, even to the expungement of conviction records, to ensure your life can return to normal.
As a client:
Don will be reactive and communicative during the entire process, answering questions and working closely with you.
You will not be alone in facing the legal system, nor will not be abandoned when the final gavel falls in court.
Don’s priority is your life: he will fight for you even beyond the completion of probation, all the way to the expungement or dismissal of the charges against you
Don is a lawyer who puts communication and trust to work alongside skill and reactivity to defend your life and rights. He is the man you call when you are in trouble, and the one to see you out of it.
