Heath and Jill began this journey after throwing axes on a date night with friends and knew quickly this could be great in the Charleston area. So they surrounded themselves with some really smart people (cause Heath's an engineer and Jill's a SAHM to their three children) and took the plunge. It has been a crazy ride, but they can't wait for you to join them.And just an FYI:
Lumber Jill's isn't just named after the co-owner, but is a really cool piece of history. In England, the Women’s Timber Corps "manned" the lumber yards while the men were out serving in WWII. They affectionately became known as Lumberjills and was Britain's answer to Rosie the Riveter. Ladies, we salute you and thank you for the example you set!
