Hi, my name is Scott Hastings and I’m a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with Mortgages by Scott in the Lake Norman area. I live in Mooresville, North Carolina, with my wife Stacey and my mother-in-law Marie. Stacey is a professional horse trainer in the sport of Dressage, and we have an equestrian riding and training facility on our property. My daughter Lily is a sophomore at NC State University in Raleigh. Stacey and I are avid Crossfitters and Stacey and Stacey was actually in the top 15 worldwide a few years ago.

Before joining Mortgages by Scott, I spent most of the past decade working as an Account Executive for a major U.S. Bank as well as a locally-based lender. This experience with all aspects of the mortgage banking industry has given me an invaluable education in what to look for and avoid in a mortgage transaction.

Being a native Charlottean and a graduate of Charlotte Christian High School and East Carolina University, I have a love for this area and its people. I’ve spent many years working with clients to help them with the largest financial transaction of their lives: their home mortgage.
