“From 2020 through a pandemic and into 2022 I successfully built and sold another home service business. I knew that I was looking forward to a new venture, and having worked in or around construction for most of my teen and adult years, I knew I wanted to return to my roots. I also knew that working with home owners directly was something I had experience with and enjoyed.

Mountain Tough Exteriors was born in 2023, offering rain gutter replacement to homeowners and contractors. In 2025 we expanded to begin offering limited roof replacements.

I’ve worked hard to build this company on a foundation of great communication, a commitment to quality work, and fair pricing that offers a win-win solution for you and us. Our mission is to stay firmly planted in these values as we grow and put exploitative contractors OUT of business.”

My name’s Wes Kolste and I:

Graduated from Bear River Highschool in Tremonton, UT.
Served an LDS mission in Madagascar.
Love anything to do with the outdoors including trail running, hunting, backpacking, and fishing.
Would rank Island Park and Yellowstone as my favorite places to visit.
Have a lovely wife and kid at home.
Enjoy ice cream on occasion.
