After several years of working with a large national consulting firm, I realized that the focus was on the profit margins and shareholders, verses the customer. I soon realized, that the larger firm was not congruent with the service model I had provided and continue to provide to my clients. I could not suggest solutions to my clients problems without assigning a price tag to each one.
