Sara Hagen retired from her Financial Advisor position with Merrill Lynch to transition to open Silver Focus Services, LLC. This venture allows her to put into action a passion for assisting others and working with the older adult population in planning for and experiencing life changes and transitions. Sara values doing the right thing and helping those in need.

Originally from Edina, Minnesota, she moved to the Chicago area in 1992 after graduating from St. Mary’s College with a BA in Business Administration. She has continued studying and has acquired the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation and is working on earning the Certificated Senior Advisor (CSA) designation.

Sara has substantial experience in the Financial Services Industry working 9 years with Northwestern Mutual Life and 21 years with Merrill Lynch progressing to a Senior Financial Advisor position at the Northbrook, IL location.

With her broad, extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, Sara is uniquely qualified to work alongside and assist your Financial Advisor, Estate Planning Attorney, and Insurance Specialist to ensure your day-to-day finances are aligned with your overall financial plan.
