US Nagar is known for its growing industrial and commercial activity. Rudrapur, Pantnagar, Kashipur, Sitarganj, and nearby areas have developed into important business and manufacturing centers. Factories and commercial establishments require considerable amounts of electricity for machinery, lighting, cooling, production, storage, and other operations. Solar panels can provide these organizations with an additional source of electricity while supporting their efforts to adopt cleaner energy.

For homeowners, solar panels can be installed on rooftops to generate electricity for everyday household requirements. During sunny periods, the panels produce electricity that can be used to operate lights, fans, refrigerators, televisions, water pumps, computers, and other appliances. Depending on the system design and applicable electricity regulations, excess electricity may be supplied to the grid through an approved mechanism. This makes rooftop solar an attractive option for households interested in renewable energy.
