While they will tell you they have many "happy" customers, be informed that they have declared bankruptcy - bankruptcy is not a good sign for a builder under any circumstances. How many happy customers does it take to go bankrupt? You can ask Duane and Sarita Wells, the owners. To be specific, there are multiple creditors listed under their bankruptcy proceedings, including customers whose claims include fraud, theft, demand for return of funds for poor workmanship, subcontractors who were not paid after being fraudulently told by the builder that customers were withholding payments and therefore could not be paid for their work, and even their law firm, who dropped them for nonpayment of a substantial amount of money. To be clear, fraud, theft and destruction of property are CRIMES in the state of Pennsylvania and renders bankruptcy protections unenforceable, as they will soon find out. If you'd like to know the way they conduct their business: when demanded, they were unable to produce receipts of payments to subcontractors, had no accounting of monies paid to them and mingled my payments with those of other customers so they could not produce documentation of expenses. After being contacted by a major subcontractor on my project, I learned that they had overcharged me by thousands of dollars and were engaged in other fraud, theft and other malfeasance throughout. I am suing the owners, Duane and Sarita Wells, directly to the fullest extent of the law for theft, fraud and destruction of property, and look very much forward to seeing the legal process through to a satisfactory conclusion. I will also keep the public posted on litigation throughout the process and will post regularly on all available media platforms. Be aware that they have some other business names, including Garage Loco and Storm Land Services.
