During a free evaluation, the trainer will educate you on your dog’s behaviors, causes of these behaviors, the methods recommended to change these behaviors, the pros and cons of each method and make a professional recommendation regarding which style will produce the results you desire. The most important part is NOT that your dog learns the Come command, but that he will do it no matter what else is going on. In other words, what good is the Come command if your dog will only perform it in a sterile environment? The same is true for all commands. For example, anyone can teach their dog to “Sit” on the kitchen floor, but can you get your dog to “Sit” at the park as other people, dogs, and kids walk by?
