Business Description

My name is Laura and I am the founder of The Rosie Project, an equine based business in San Diego, California. I am a Certified Equine Massage Therapist, Certified Magnawave PEMF Practitioner, PATH International Certified Equine Specialist for Mental Health and Learning as well as a certifed facilitator for the Equine Academy for Learning. I earned a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Boston University. Separate of equine bodywork, I can also provide an educational and recreational space for people interested in learning more about our relationships with horses and how it pertains to our relationships in our everyday lives. No riding or horse experience is necessary. This is a non-riding based program. It is groundwork only. The Rosie Project strives to provide an enjoyable, safe, and fun learning environment for everyone. We take the time to understand what each participant wants to get out of their experience, and we make sure they leave with a newfound appreciation and understanding of the equine world. We look forward to helping you get the most out of your experience with us, and we're sure you'll leave with a newfound passion and appreciation for horses. Rosie is, as we like to say, my "heart horse". She and I found each other at a very diffcult time in my life. Together we learned to navigate many different life lessons. She helped me learn about myself, my relationships with others, helped me grow, and helped me find my passion.
