Dr. Aja Gilmore-Nichols is the owner of Lifestyle Dentistry in Smyrna where she focuses on the ABCs of dentistry: Airway, Breath, & Cosmetics.

Hailing from Indiana, where she also attended dental school, Dr. Nichols decided to make Smyrna her home after serving five years in the United States Navy. After receiving her Georgia licensure, she worked for “corporate dentistry” where she learned quickly that their motto wasn’t as relationship-focused, as she desired to be.

While transitioning to open her own practice, she worked for a mobile-dentistry company where she traveled daily to underserved elementary and middle schools to provide dental work on children.

In 2016, Dr. Nichols opened LIFEstyle Dentistry. Her mission has always simply been to “do the right things, at the right time, for the right reasons” for her patients. When asked what patients can expect from Lifestyle Dentistry, Dr. Nichols states “delicate honesty. I understand we are not a good fit for every patient, and my commitment is that as my patient, you will always be informed enough to make an educated decision regarding your investment in your oral health.”
