There is no strong evidence of a direct drug–food interaction between caffeine and sildenafil — meaning coffee itself doesn’t significantly change how the medication works or is metabolized. However, there are some important points to consider:  How caffeine and sildenafil each work Sildenafil mainly relaxes blood vessels and can lower blood pressure. Caffeine is a stimulant that can raise heart rate and temporarily increase blood pressure.
