Dr Joseph V.G. with the assistance of educators with similar views, including Prof. Shivarudrappa, Dr Hanumanthappa, Prof. V.B. Coutinho and Prof. Rame Gowda, founded the Garden City Education Trust in 1992 to build centres for educational excellence.
