For over 45 years, Challenge Employment and Training has been dedicated to transforming lives by leveraging its expertise and resources to support individuals in reaching their full potential.

Originally established as a community initiative to address youth unemployment in the Ipswich region—under the name Young Unemployed People of Ipswich (YUPI)—the organisation has since evolved into a registered not-for-profit training provider serving communities across South-East Queensland.

While its scope has expanded to support all disadvantaged cohorts, Challenge Employment and Training continues to maintain a strong focus on youth, with 76% of participants falling within this demographic. Through personalised mentoring, the organisation helps individuals build essential work and life skills, access meaningful training opportunities, and achieve sustainable employment and positive long-term outcomes.
