Steven Coren is the principal of the law firm bearing his name with offices located in Brooklyn. He was admitted to practice in 1978 in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He later gained admission to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Claims. He is a member of the American Bar Association (“ABA”), ABA Litigation Section. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association (“NYSBA”), Labor and Employment Law Section as well as the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Coren started his law work as an associate with the firm of Jackson, Lewis, Schnitzler & Krupman. He later worked as in house counsel for the National Broadcasting Company. For the past ten (10) years, he has managed his own law firm with a concentration of practice involving small to medium sized construction companies and hospitality industry employers.

Mr. Coren is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He received his law degree from New York Law School where he served as Research Editor for its law review. He holds a Master of Laws from New York University and has been published in a variety of commercial trade publications.
