Dr. Richa Saxena is an Obstetrician Gynecologist, a brilliant academician, and an advocate of women’s health. A graduate of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, she went on to complete a master's degree in Gynecology from Delhi University and a clinical research project at the AIIMS, New Delhi. Desiring to acquire a further higher degree from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists-London (RCOG), she travelled to the UK in 2004. She is an artist and a creative person.
She is the recipient of the Rotary Vocational Excellence award (2017-2018) for exemplary service in the speciality of Obstetrics and Gynecology despite her physical health related problems. She has also received the “Woman of Substance Award” (category healthcare) for the year 2022.
She gives consultations as well as second opinion to patients regarding various health care problems such as pregnancy related issues and complications, menstrual abnormalities, gynecological problems, such as PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, subfertility, gynecological infections, gynecological malignancies, menopausal problems, bone health, etc. Working towards the promotion of woman’s health through this clinic, she has been actively involved in conducting educational sessions for young women and girls related to several topics such as menstrual hygiene, PCOS, cancer prevention, benefits of Natural Childbirth over Cesarean delivery and various other social issues affecting their Reproductive and Fertility health.
