Eddy Perio was established in September 1992 by Dr. Nelson Eddy following his residency at Boston University. Dr. Eddy was invited to join Dr. Bob Rubins, a founder of Charlotte Perio, to assist with his satellite office in Rock Hill. Thanks to a recommendation from one of Dr. Eddy's clinical instructors at BU, this partnership flourished. Dr. Eddy worked alongside Dr. Rubins until 1997 when he took over the Rock Hill operation as Dr. Rubins focused solely on the Charlotte location. During this time, Dr. Eddy also established a satellite office in South Charlotte, expanding his reach and continuing to provide exceptional periodontal care to the community.
