My name is M. Zakaria. I was born in Bawak Nao, Sembalun, East Lombok, precisely at the foot of Mount Rinjani, which is now the official main route and the nearest track to hike to Mount Rinjani.
As a Sembalun, my hobby is being an adventurer, and my main job since 2005 has been as a guide to Mount Rinjani, which I do with pleasure because I can make friends with people from all over the world while at the same time earning a decent enough income.
