Fox Valley Institute was founded in 2001 by Dr. Laura Bokar. As the sole therapist, Dr. Bokar met with people every day that had a growing desire for more deeply satisfying lives, families and careers. As her passion for helping individuals understand and conquer life’s challenges grew, so did the company.

Today, Fox Valley Institute is comprised of thirty-five and growing professional and dedicated individuals offering individual, children, adolescent, marriage, family and group counseling services. Our simple and straightforward philosophy is centered around you. Since everyone is unique, we start by listening. We want to get to know you, your situation, your family and anything else that may be relevant. We then begin to work with you to set manageable, realistic goals.
