The user should make sure that while enabling the Smart Connect feature the Network Name and the Wi-Fi password shared by the network should be same. If they will not be same then while hopping on to the other band, the SSID name may be overlapped and that would cause the problem in Network Settings. This setting is configured through the web interface of www.tplinkwifi.net
