Company founder Ira Hansen is a second-generation Nevadan and is committed to delivering honesty and integrity to customers throughout the Truckee Meadows area. He started his career in the plumbing trade when he took over a defunct sewer cleaning service in 1979. He spent the next seven years growing and developing the business, building a strong base of loyal customers.

In 1986, Ira received his plumbing contractor’s license and established Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing. He and his wife, Alexis Hansen, were the first two employees, and over the years their sons have joined in running the company, making us a family owned and operated venture from the beginning. What started with two employees is now one of the leading plumbing companies in the Reno/Sparks area!
