I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, my goal is to help my clients get in touch with their whole self through a holistic approach. I have training and experience in various different clinical techniques. Included in those are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma Focused, Christian based therapy and Behavior modification. I have utilized different techniques associated with play therapy, and mindfulness. All clients receive a strength based, person centered approach to therapy; to provide an individualized experience.
My passions are working with children, adolescents, individuals and families. I have experience working with families where abuse (physical, *****, and emotional), substance abuse, and neglect have played a role in disrupting the family dynamics. My experience also includes working with families where children have developmental disabilities and emotional problems that lead to behavior and social difficulties both in the home and in school.
I enjoy working with clients and helping them process their trauma, everyday struggles, and significant life changes. I believe in relationship building when participating in therapy; it is a necessity when aiming to build a connection between therapist and client. As your therapist my desire is to take the time to get to know you as a person to better help provide an all around holistic approach to therapy where we care for the mind, body, and soul.
