Sauna control panel consists of timer and thermostat in one unit to control sauna heaters operation. Timer counts down the time and thermostat controls the temperature of the sauna. For safety in use at home, the maximum recommended sauna temperature should not be higher than 131 deg. Fahrenheit ( 55C ) for infrared sauna and 194 deg. Fahrenheit ( 90C ) for traditional, dry sauna, while the maximum time should not exceed 60 minutes. For commercial applications the timer limits and the temperature preset and pre-heat limits can be different.
