Lauren Helme, MMS, PA-C has been practicing in the field of dermatology since 2011. After attending Pine View School and Riverview School in Sarasota, she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of numerous dermatologic societies and enjoys participating in community health events offered by organizations such as the National Skin Cancer Foundation and National Psoriasis Foundation. In 2015, a career change for her husband took them to California where she continued practicing with a Stanford dermatologist in the San Francisco area. A highly trained practitioner, Lauren has extensive experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology including skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, rashes and psoriasis. Her strong cosmetic skills include wrinkle fillers and relaxers, Kybella, PRP, thread lifts, intense pulse light, radiofrequency, ablative and non-ablative laser treatments. Lauren and her husband had a baby in 2020 and moved to Sarasota to be near family. She is excited to be back in her hometown practicing dermatology.
