Laura Pereira is an associate attorney at The Campbell Law Group in Coral Gables, Florida. Ms. Pereira was born in Havana, Cuba and at the age of seven immigrated to Miami, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University. Thereafter, she earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and graduated Cum Laude.

During law school, Ms. Pereira was a recurring Dean’s list and scholarship recipient and served as the Symposium and Article Procurement Editor for the St. Thomas Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. She organized and took part as a panel speaker focusing her discussion on Cuban social movements in the St. Thomas University School of Law Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, 11th Annual Symposium. Ms. Pereira was able to excel academically in law school while simultaneously interning at the Family Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, and as a law clerk for prestigious law firms, wherein she gained valuable experience in family and probate law, business and corporate litigation, transactional law, and mediation.
