The Village Paradigm is an approach to therapy that builds off the African proverb, “It takes a village.” I believe there are very few things in mental health that you can heal from in isolation. As such, I created this practice to help people find their village (family, friends, organizations, communities, like-minded individuals, etc.) and utilize that support to facilitate healing. I intentionally curated the space for Black individuals, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community to feel seen, be heard, and receive competent care from person(s) who share like identities.
