After inaugurating Arogya Sandhan Pathological Laboratory & Doctors’ Clinic at Naresh Bina Sevayan, 67B, New Santoshpur Main Road, Kolkata – 700 075, Mr. Niranjan Biswas, General Secretary of Arogya Sandhan Santoshpur, went to Indian Bank, Guwahati Branch on 29th June’2005. Two college of Mr. Biswas with their challenged children went to Guwahati. Both the parents got notice from their respective landlord that challenged children’s are curse of god and bad omen and they were given notice to vacate the rented house. This incidence of branding challenged children are curse of god caused a lot of mental agony to Mr. Biswas. He could not sleep for 2-3 nights. Finally he decided to mobilize social organizations and common people for awareness through distribution of leaflet. Finally he conducted a seminar on “Problems of challenged children and role of the society” at Sudmarson Hall of Cotton college, Guwahati on 4th December’2005.
