Extra doses are particularly risky for people who: Take nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide — tadalafil is contraindicated with nitrates. D DailyMed Take alpha-blockers or several blood-pressure medicines, because tadalafil can further lower blood pressure. D DailyMed Have significant heart, kidney, or liver problems. Are taking another ED medicine such as sildenafil, vardenafil, or tadalafil. Combining PDE-5 inhibitors is not recommended. D DailyMed Have already taken the recommended dose.
